Business internet in Sharjah gets far less written about it than Dubai, which is odd given how much of the UAE's trading, manufacturing and logistics activity actually sits here. Sharjah businesses tend to get generic advice written for a Dubai tower — which is not much help if you're running a workshop in Industrial Area 12 or a unit in SAIF Zone.
This guide is specific to Sharjah: what it costs, which areas connect easily, why industrial units behave differently from offices, and how to get a line in days. Stalwart is an authorized du business partner and has been connecting UAE businesses since 2014, including across the northern emirates.

The Short Answer
For a Sharjah office, du business fibre from AED 810 per month gives you 200 Mbps to 1 Gbps with a business voice line, usually installed in 2–5 working days once documents clear. If your unit isn't fibre-ready — common in industrial plots and older buildings — 5G Business WiFi from AED 249 per month needs only power and runs in about 48 hours. Sharjah is served by both du and Etisalat (e&); availability comes down to your specific building, so check your exact address before assuming either way.
The Sharjah-specific point: coverage varies much more between a Buhairah Corniche tower and an Industrial Area 10 workshop than it does across Dubai. Do a coverage check on your actual unit before you sign a lease or a contract — it takes five minutes and occasionally changes which unit you take.
Your Three Connection Options
Almost every Sharjah business lands on one of three setups, or a combination.
- Business fibre. The main choice for offices, showrooms and established commercial buildings. Fastest, most consistent, includes a voice line. Needs the building to be fibre-served and you to have a tenancy contract.
- 5G Business WiFi. Wireless, no cabling, live in roughly 48 hours. Genuinely valuable in Sharjah — it covers industrial units awaiting fibre, temporary sites, small workshops and any unit where trenching cable isn't realistic.
- Business SIMs. For drivers, delivery staff, site supervisors and sales teams — an operational necessity for most Sharjah trading and logistics firms rather than an extra.
A very common Sharjah build is fibre in the office, 5G in the warehouse, and SIMs for the drivers, all on one account.
Sharjah Business Internet Prices
UAE business connectivity is served by both du and Etisalat (e&). Stalwart is an authorized du business partner, so these are current du starting prices — actual numbers you can budget against.
| Plan | What You Get | Best For | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| du Business Fibre | 200 Mbps–1 Gbps + business voice line | Offices, showrooms, clinics | AED 810/mo |
| du 5G Business WiFi | Wireless broadband, no cabling | Industrial units, temporary sites, small workshops | AED 249/mo |
| du Business SIM | Calls + data, company account | Drivers, site staff, sales teams | AED 50/line |
| du Business Infinite | Unlimited data SIM | Field managers, heavy travellers | AED 125/line |
| Ultimate Fibre Plan | Fibre + landline + Microsoft 365 | Companies buying productivity licences too | Quote |
| Managed Broadband | Enterprise SLA + static IP | Sites where downtime costs money | Custom |
Sharjah pricing is not a separate tariff from the rest of the UAE — these are national business plans. What changes locally is availability and installation effort, which is why a coverage check matters more here than a price comparison.
Coverage by Area
Fibre in Sharjah is decided building by building, but the pattern across the emirate is fairly predictable. Here's how the main commercial districts generally behave.
- Al Majaz and Buhairah Corniche. Sharjah's main office district — commercial towers, professional services, plenty of SMEs. Generally the smoothest fibre installs in the emirate.
- Al Qasimia and Al Nahda. Dense mixed commercial and residential, with a lot of small trading offices. Good coverage in newer buildings; older blocks occasionally need cabling.
- Al Khan and Al Taawun. Offices and retail along the waterfront, popular with companies whose staff commute from Dubai.
- Muwailih and University City. Education, training centres and the businesses that serve them — reliable connectivity matters here for online learning platforms.
- Industrial Areas 1–18. The industrial heart of the emirate: workshops, garages, small manufacturing and trading yards. Coverage is the most variable in Sharjah — some plots connect easily, others don't.
- SAIF Zone (Sharjah Airport International Free Zone). Well-established free zone near Sharjah International Airport, heavy with logistics and light manufacturing.
- Hamriyah Free Zone. Large industrial and port-linked free zone with substantial manufacturing and oil-and-gas services activity.
- Sharjah Media City (Shams). Popular with media firms, freelancers and small consultancies, often on flexi-desk packages where 5G suits better than fibre.
SAIF Zone, Hamriyah & Shams
Sharjah's free zones connect on the same national business plans, using the trade licence and lease issued by the free zone authority rather than a mainland licence and Ejari. Those documents are perfectly valid — there's no disadvantage to being free-zone licensed.
What actually determines your options is the unit type. A dedicated warehouse or office within SAIF Zone or Hamriyah Free Zone can usually take a fixed fibre line, subject to a readiness check on that plot. A flexi-desk or shared-office package — very common at Shams — generally can't, because the building's connection isn't allocated to your desk. That's where 5G Business WiFi does the job: no cabling, no landlord conversation, working within about 48 hours.
Logistics operators in SAIF Zone and Hamriyah frequently need something extra: a stable link between the warehouse and a head office elsewhere. That's a static IP requirement, covered in our guide to static IP business internet in the UAE.
Industrial Areas & Warehouses
This is where Sharjah differs most from a Dubai office guide, and where generic advice fails. Industrial units have three characteristics that change the answer.
First, fibre coverage is genuinely patchy. Many industrial plots were built long before fibre was standard, so one unit may connect in days while the unit next door needs new cabling and a survey. Never assume based on a neighbour.
Second, the building fights your WiFi. Metal shutters, steel racking, concrete walls and high ceilings absorb and reflect signal badly. A single router at the office end of a warehouse will not cover the loading bay, and no amount of speed fixes that — you need access points placed through the space, or a dedicated unit at the far end.
Third, what you need is often modest. A workshop running invoicing, WhatsApp, a couple of cameras and a cloud inventory system doesn't need 1 Gbps. It needs a connection that stays up. In those cases 5G Business WiFi at AED 249 per month is frequently the better-value answer, and it can be moved if you relocate.
Where a warehouse is business-critical — live inventory, ERP terminals, dispatch systems — that's the case for managed broadband with an SLA, so an outage has a committed response time rather than a queue position.
How Much Speed Do You Need?
| Business Type | Typical Need | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Small trading office (1–10 staff) | Email, WhatsApp, accounting, browsing | 200 Mbps fibre |
| Professional services (10–25) | Video calls, cloud apps, file sharing | 500 Mbps fibre |
| Workshop / garage | Invoicing, cameras, inventory | 5G Business WiFi |
| Warehouse with live systems | ERP terminals, dispatch, scanning | Fibre + SLA |
| Manufacturing (25+ staff) | Multiple systems, cameras, VoIP | 1 Gbps fibre |
| Media / design studio | Large uploads, rendering, transfers | 1 Gbps fibre |
The number people forget is upload speed. Video calls, cloud backups and remote camera viewing all push data out, and this is exactly where consumer-grade connections disappoint. A business plan is built with that in mind.
How to Get Connected
The process is the same national one, with a Sharjah-specific first step.
- 1. Coverage check. Give your building name or industrial plot number and confirm what's available at that unit. In Sharjah, do this before signing a lease.
- 2. Gather documents. Trade licence, establishment card, signatory's passport and Emirates ID, tenancy contract or free zone lease. Full detail in our documents required for business internet guide.
- 3. Choose fibre or 5G. Fibre if the unit supports it and you're staying; 5G if not, or if you need to work this week.
- 4. Install. 2–5 working days for fibre in a ready building; about 48 hours for 5G; same or next day for SIMs.
- 5. Sort coverage inside. Especially in warehouses and multi-room offices, plan access points rather than relying on the supplied router.

Running Sharjah and Dubai Together
A large share of Sharjah companies operate across emirate lines — warehouse and production in Sharjah, a showroom or sales office in Dubai. Handled well, that's straightforward.
Put both sites on one business account so you get a single bill and one account manager who knows both locations, rather than explaining your setup twice. If the sites share systems — inventory, ERP, a file server, camera feeds viewed from head office — add a static IP at each end and run a site-to-site VPN between them. And equip the people moving between the two with business SIMs; unlimited data on Business Infinite from AED 125 per line suits staff who spend half their week in traffic on the E311.
If your Dubai site is the newer one, our guide to business internet for a new company in Dubai covers that setup end to end, and business internet in Abu Dhabi covers the capital.
"Our office is in Al Majaz and the warehouse is in Industrial Area 6. Fibre went into the office in under a week; the warehouse wasn't fibre-ready so we put 5G in there instead. One bill, one person to call. That was the part that mattered." — General Manager, trading & distribution company, Sharjah

Conclusion
Business internet in Sharjah is well served for offices and more variable for industrial units — and knowing which situation you're in is most of the decision. Offices in Al Majaz, Buhairah Corniche and Al Qasimia generally take du business fibre from AED 810 per month without difficulty. Workshops and warehouses in the Industrial Areas, and flexi-desks at Shams, are often better and faster served by 5G Business WiFi from AED 249 per month. Free zone companies at SAIF Zone and Hamriyah connect on the same plans using their free zone licence and lease.
The one step worth doing before anything else is a coverage check on your exact unit. Stalwart — an authorized du business partner since 2014 — will run that check, tell you honestly whether fibre or 5G is the better answer for your site, and set up offices, warehouses and staff SIMs on one account with a single dedicated manager.
